If you don’t know who The Cunninlynguists are or how they get down then I pity you greatly (check back in a few days, I’ll hook you up). If you do, then you’ll be excited about this drop. This is group member Deacon the Villain’s unreleased LP (produced by Tondeff of Extended F@mm). It’s been floating around the internet for sometime, but I know there’s a lot of cats who didn’t even know it exists so catch it while you can.

I can’t say enough good things about these cats. The Binkis Recs is a trio originally hailing from NYC, but current headed in Atlanta. They take it back to NY’s glory days and will put you in the mind of Wu-Tang, MF Grimm and the likes. Remember if you’re sleeping, you’re losing.

Since most people probably haven’t heard this magnificent album I thought Id post it. This album has sum of the best production I have EVER heard. The MCs rip the tracks to pieces. I highly recommend this album. Here’s sum info first:
A new breed of MC’s, Liguistics is here to entertain you with true real hip-hop, amazing rhymes and beats, along with intense cuts and scratches by top-notch DJ’s like Dj Step 1, Dj Solo, and Dj 3rdi. Linguistics consists of 3 MC’s - Kasper, IQ, and Entity. All solo acts, Kasper and Entity joined together with a very talented group of MC’s called Kastlevania in the 1990’s and early 2000. They won the San Diego music award for best new hip-hop, but soon the group started breaking up and going their own ways. IQ was busy working on a mix CD with his company “Intelligence Records” that he founded with his cousin Jay War. Jay was a long time friend of Kasper and hit him up to see if he wanted to get involved with the Intelligence Records project, the mix CD featuring some of the best up-and-coming hip-hop artists around Southern California. Eventually Kasper and IQ we’re creating many songs together and decided to put one together with Kasper’s old friend Entity. At that studio session, they realized how strong they were as a group, and decided to make an album together. 3 different styles from 3 different places in Southern California. Entity from Texas originally bringin the southern style, Kasper growin up with east coast hip-hop and IQ growin up with west coast influence somehow combine to form the ultimate group with a unique sound that is sure to appeal to any true hip-hop fan. Add to that the amazing ground-breaking producers and you have something truly special to listen to and enjoy. It’s all about the hip-hop. 1 luv

I was brought up on The Roots so it goes without saying I’m a huge fan and can’t wait for Rising Down (yes I’ll actually buy it) If you’re fiending for the follow-up to Game Theory as much as I am, I’m here to provide you with temporary relief. Here are 4 tracks (sorry, not the greatest quality) from the new roots album as well as the music video to a song which was unexplicably cut . Rising Down is slated to drop on the 29th of this month so hopefully these’ll last you until then.

I had this album in another post, but I feel that it deserves to be on the front page instead of buried somewhere it might now be seen. I’m talking about Senim Silla’s album The Name, The Motto, The Outcome. I just got the album yesterday (props to apawllo at muziksupremacy,) and like me, any fan on Binary Star should enjoy this album. Check it out.

I’ve become a huge Classified fan in the past couple of months. The first track I heard from him was The Maritimes on a drunk car ride home one day. Needless to say, I had all of his albums within the next week. I don’t know how I slept on him for so long. I came across this CD recently in my travels across the internet. It’s listed as an import on Amazon and seems like a greatest hits to me but I’m not sure. It could just be that I like a lot of Classified songs. Either way, the tracklisting and download link are on the next page, so click continue reading to check this Canadian out.
